(Latte @Common Bond)
Craving coffee? You’re certainly not the only one in town.
What makes a perfect coffee is a highly subjective matter. Fortunately, Houston is full of shops dedicated to offering the best in town. But with so many new coffee spots opening, it can be hard to keep up. To guide you to the best places in Houston, I’ve listed my ten favorite spots du moment to grab a Latte, iced coffee or just a really good drip.
Ever since its opening in May, this new spot is in the Houston Heights permanently packed. Not surprisingly, because there are so many great things to say about Morningstar. Common Bond is permanently packed, and with good reason. At the counter, you can already see their delicious macarons, pastries, croissants and freshly baked breads, but on the breakfast, brunch and lunch menu, they offer even more yummy food. To complement the food, they serve a variety of drinks, including my old time favorite – a creamy Latte. Regardless of whether it is a weekday or weekend, this place is always crowded. But it is easy to see why people love this place, even with so much competition in the Montrose area. Read my blog about this hotspot.
Inversion Coffee House
Artsy, cool and a bit different — these words can be used to describe Inversion Coffee House. This place is all about excellent drinks and interesting surroundings in which to enjoy them. After ordering your coffee, you can choose to sit inside or on the patio or wander around while looking at interesting art. Inversion Coffee House shares its building with the Art League Houston, which offers art classes and hosts free exhibitions. Since the spaces are connected, it would be a shame not to combine the two on your visit. Read my blog about this hotspot.
