Do something good and drink your coffee at A 2nd Cup in the Houston Heights
A 2nd Cup is a must-visit for Houstonians! Established to help fight human trafficking in Houston, this new non-profit coffee shop serves seriously tasty food and drinks.
Because of the city’s demographics and location, Houston is a big hub for human trafficking. The mission of A 2nd Cup is to fight this via education, funding and partnerships with other anti-trafficking organizations. All profits of this coffee place are used to support the cause, so your money is definitely well spent.
With the help of volunteers, A 2nd Cup just opened their permanent shop in a stylish industrial building in the Heights. That means that they’re now open everyday from 7am to 10pm. Besides good coffee, Chai and fresh smoothies they serve breakfast and lunch (the tomato soup was divine!). And thanks to the relaxed vibe and availability of outlets, this coffee shop is also a nice place to go to if you want to work on your laptop.
I truly recommend you to visit A 2nd Cup soon. Great coffee, tasty food, a stylish decor and a cause we should all support; what’s not to love?
